Everything was perfectly organized and the staff welcomed us with incredible Moroccan hospitality. The camel trek through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi during sunset was absolutely magical. Watching the sun slowly disappear behind the dunes while riding camels was one of the most beautiful moments of our trip to Morocco. The camp itself was comfortable, clean, and very well prepared. The tents were spacious and beautifully decorated in traditional Berber style, yet equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Dinner was delicious, with authentic Moroccan dishes served under the stars. At night, the atmosphere around the campfire was fantastic. The team played traditional Berber music and drums while guests enjoyed the peaceful silence of the desert and the incredible starry sky. In the morning, waking up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes was another breathtaking experience. If you are looking for a genuine Sahara adventure with great service, delicious food, and a magical desert atmosphere, I highly recommend Sunset Camp Merzouga. We had a wonderful stay at this camp in the heart of the desert. The location offers a unique atmosphere surrounded by beautiful desert landscapes. The tents are comfortable and nicely designed, each with its own bathroom, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The camp staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and hospitable throughout our stay. In the evening, there was a lovely show by the fire, which created a great atmosphere and made the experience feel even more authentic. Riding camels in the desert was also a highlight and something we will definitely remember. The only small downside was related to food. When, the owner mentioned that gluten-free and lactose-free meals would not be a problem. However, when we arrived, no one seemed to know about this request and there were no prepared alternatives. This was a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the staff handled the situation very well and did their best to improvise, which we really appreciated. If you plan to visit in March, be prepared for cold nights in the desert. Overall, it was a memorable experience and a truly unique place to stay.

Our luxury tent was spacious, clean, and beautifully set up, complete with comfortable beds and a private bathroom — a great blend of comfort and authentic desert experience. Falling asleep under a blanket of stars was magical. The sunset camel trek was a highlight — our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ride across the dunes was peaceful and unforgettable. Back at the camp, the atmosphere around the fire was so welcoming. We enjoyed traditional Berber music and a delicious Moroccan dinner with tagine and fresh bread. Breakfast the next morning was also lovely, with plenty of tasty options. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the team — they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and made our time in the Sahara truly special. A magical place in the desert filled with extraordinary energy. The locals are extremely kind. The food is very delicious. The tents are luxurious with their own bathroom and toilet. It is clean and tidy. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. I would come back again!

We spent one night in the camp tent and dined on Moroccan culinary delicacies. After dinner, the camp staff entertained us with local music accompanied by drums. A unique experience.

Un endroit incroyable dans le désert. Tentes très spacieuses, tout est impeccable, draps et serviettes inclus : un endroit magique ! Excellent tajine, et après le dîner, spectacle de musique et de percussions au coin du feu, le tout au milieu des dunes. On vous emmène à dos de chameau, c'est très authentique. Les activités dans le désert, comme le 4x4, le snowboard et une excursion nomade, sont incroyables. Le lever du soleil est magnifique. Je recommande vivement ! Les guides sont excellents ; nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Estuvimos en Marruecos una semana, y el mejor recuerdo lo tenemos de este lugar. Contratamos quads y camellos con ellos. Increíble el trato, todo al detalle. Cenamos y desayunamos ahí y fueron las mejores comidas que tuvimos. Hubo espectáculo después de cenar. Las habitaciones tenían todo tipo de comodidades, y las camas eran enormes. Un lugar mágico sin duda.
