We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is unbeatable — easily the best spot on the island for watching the sunset, especially during happy hour. The two brothers who run the bungalows are fantastic — so friendly, accommodating, and genuinely go above and beyond to make sure guests are happy. The rooms have excellent air conditioning and a great fridge, which made our stay really comfortable. While some past reviews mention noise from nearby bars, we didn’t find it to be an issue at all. The music is never too loud and stops by 11pm most nights (Saturday can go a little later). I’m a very very light sleeper and I had no trouble sleeping. This is an authentic Indonesian-style accommodation, so you can expect some natural dust due to the beachfront setting — part of the charm, really. The rooms were serviced and cleaned during our stay, though we thought the timing could have been a bit better (our room and bedding were cleaned on night 3 of a 4-night stay — mid-stay on night 2 would have been perfect). The pool area is lovely, with comfy sun loungers and exactly what you want from a beachside pool setup. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful spot, made even better by the people who run it. We’d definitely return!

It would have been nice to have the rooms cleaned midway through our stay rather than the last night but that’s our only negative. Everything else was amazing!
