Great setting and our accommodation was a good size for us - not many places can sleep 8/9. Loved nature walking around the site!

Only criticism was that I didn’t realise there was no sample sized body wash or shampoo or handwash (soap!) and as we were travelling through we didn’t need or have any of that.

Clean easy to get in and out was met by a mob of kangaroos and was able to hand feed them the family loved it

The place was clean and the grounds kept well. You can hear a little highway noise in the distance but you can also hear the waves from the beach. The pool area is small but very clean and the spa was lovely. We arrived after the office closed but instructions were clear and easy to navigate to our accommodation. The boom gate adds a bit of extra security which is good.

Pool is beautiful and you get a arm band to wear for the duration of your stay to use it. Kangaroos and birds were lovely.

Where do I start. If you like the absolute bare minimum for your buck this is the place for you! They have such amazing photos and it simply looks like a dream online, who relies on photos anyway really, the real world is so much better! Who needs fancy !? My idea of fancy was upgrading to a Villa, ooh la la! Start of with a spa, it's not even "a lot" extra you pay for the spa in your Villa, plus the layer of dirt and grime is super helpful for knowing where the water line usually is, it's a whole different colour so easy peasy for you to see from even the other side of your Villa! You can relax and stare up at the mould all over the roof and the 1cm think dust on the exhaust fan, it's not to noisy so that's a bonus - the water is hot though, luckily you get the bare minimum linen so you will get a towel but bringing all toiletries and supplies are a must to be able to experience this to it's full potential. You can use that towel to wipe the bathroom also that hasn't has a deep clean since probably 2024 when the electronics were meant to be checked and serviced, you can take a short drive into town to get anything you need to enjoy your stay like soap or cleaning products from your local Woolworths, you do get a teeny tiny bit of dishwashing liquid as it's your job to clean before you leave, they will email you a list of what should be done before you check out for your convenience, also pick up some biscuits for your cuppa in the morning too, even your toddler will spit out the vintage ones there, children right!?

Wi-fi wasn’t always consistent.

The beach was nice and the wild life around for the kids. Girl at reception was nice.

We stayed in Kaola 2, the place wasn't very clean. There was dirt in a few of the cupboards and the cutlery was not clean. We had to make our own beds as none of them were done except the double. Had to put all the bar stalls off the bench top aswell. Overall you get what you pay for it was a last minute booking and considering it was school holidays the place was empty.
