Grand Villa Houseboat

What an amazing two days. My parents, my husband, and our two girls had an incredible experience together. Even though the weather was cloudy, and we had a lot of rain, we were still able to take advantage of the views and incredible wildlife— so many birds…from kingfisher to eagles 🦅 to parrots 🦜! We were so well taken care of 💚The staff is top notch — it started with fresh coconut water and jasmine necklaces, and continued on with (lots!!) of superb food, and chai. Attention to detail was incredible…They anticipated our every need and handled our various food requests with grace. The highlight for me, despite the weather, was the little early morning 🛶boat ride with my husband. We were hoping to catch the sunrise, but it was too cloudy and rainy… however, we huddled together under an umbrella ☂️ and got to explore the tiny canals and see the locals go about their everyday lives. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience and something I will cherish! 🪷If you get the chance to experience Kerala by houseboat, I highly recommend Grand Villa Houseboat and their amazing staff!

- Not many activities outside the boat ride (not many opportunities to stretch/move) - Showers could be better - a selection of board games/deck of cards would have been nice

An unforgettable houseboat experience with breathtaking backwater views, peaceful vibes, and warm hospitality from the crew. The food was exceptional, and every moment felt like pure bliss. The houseboat was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. Every corner was clean and cozy, making the entire journey feel luxurious and relaxing.The natural scenery was breathtaking, with serene backwaters, lush greenery, and a peaceful atmosphere all around.

Everything about the boat was perfect; I have no complaints whatsoever.

When we booked the holiday, the advert shows a different boat with good ratings. However the boat we were given was different. This was not as good.

The houseboat was so comfortable and allows for the best views!

The staff was amazing, had delicious food and saw a lot of wildlife!! Try exploring it with a group of friends!!

Kylash- chef, Bhutan- driver and Annandeep- assistant, looked after us magnificently on Grand Villa 1. We loved our 2 night cruise and the houseboat is lovely. Keerthi, boss, also answered all our questions quickly and kindly arranged a taxi on leaving. paid 1/3 deposit in advance and balance on arrival - no problems. Hope to stay again some day
