Raja's Palace Houseboat - Kashmir

Location is bang on Dal Lake. Quiet, hospitable family, always ready to cater to your every need. Comfortable beds and size of room. Wasim’s mother will cook whatever you feel like eating. The central location makes it ideal to visit sites in Srinagar, and there is road access from the back of the houseboat. Wasim’s father is the ultimate host who is always concerned about your needs and welfare. Genuinely nice people. Ali is always ready to take you sightseeing and they have a vehicle for the same.

There were occasional instances where the hot water was not always available in the bathrooms.

Very bad behavior of both brother, too much extra charge when we hire taxi for 5km 2500rs, dinner 350rs/head, Room heater charge 500rs/2hr. He takes GST on rooms and other services but not provide GST INVOICE

Excellent welcome from the entire family who were extremely helpful and kind throughout our entire stay. They offered us good advice about things to do in the city and surrounding area and provided transport when necessary at a good rate.
