Un endroit où le temps s’arrête. C’était exceptionnel !

Lugar mágico. Fuimos en primavera y estaba muy verde: nada de desierto, pero aislado con el atlas de fondo y precioso. Las tiendas tienen vistas increíbles y son muy tranquilas. El paseo en camello es fabuloso.

I guess this was one of the base level camp options outside in the Agafey Desert. We didn’t organise this as a full package, but booked the camp, and then liaised with them for transport out to the camp and back. None of that was an issue. The activities (we did quad bikes, but you could also do buggy’s and camels), are not at the camp, but a top before. This wasn’t an issued and was planned into our trip out to the camp - although it would have been good to know this, as we may have adjusted timing a bit. The camp is basic, but probably pleasantly surprised with the room - double bed and two singles - all comfy. Bathroom attached - shower had hot water heated directly by gas. We had a great sunset and moonrise! Food was very nice - again though it would have been good to know how it worked, we had mostly filled up on what was first brought out - a lot of vegetable dishes - and then chicken tajine came out. Staff were super friendly, although didn’t speak English. (Or our French was very poor!). They lit a fire pit for us in the evening, and then delighted my daughter with bringing out marshmallows to toast!

No real complaints, more just even with not speaking the language, communicating more to help manage expectations.

L'emplacement était très bien. Isolé avec un très bel environnement. Les tentes sont très propres et les équipements nécessaires sont présents. Félicitations pour la cuisine, qui est délicieuse, dans un cadre calme. Remerciements au jeune homme qui s'est occupé de notre bien être pendant le séjour. Il était très attentif et attentionné pour que tout se passe au mieux.

Het kamp ligt wat verder afgelegen van het commerciële hart van de Agafay waardoor het heerlijk rustig en een authentiekere ervaring geeft. We kwamen wat later aan in de middag en er werd toch op verzoek een eenvoudige lunch bereid. Vriendelijke personeel. De tent is ruim en met goede bedden, in de ochtend kan je vanuit je bed de zonsopkomst op de bergen van de Atlas ervaren.

Geen warm water in de tent waardoor we douchen in de ochtend achterwege hebben gelaten. Het pad naar de tenten zou beter verlicht kunnen worden.

It was fantastic. One of the best experiences ever. The host was super nice. We were welcomed with nice tea and biscuits, the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The few is amazing.

The shower water did not get warm. But this is very hard to facilitate when you are on a remote location.
