Riad Bab Chems

Located a few minutes from the main square in an alley, this is a very nice riad. Breakfast was prepared at a pre-arranged time and was fine.

Before arriving, we asked the riad for a taxi, in the message said that the taxi would take us to the entrance of the riad. In fact, we had to walk through Jemaa el Fna square in the pouring rain, but at least we had someone from riad to accompany us. The hotel is located in a souk in the medina, where taxis cannot enter. It's interesting, at dawn there are many taxis in the square, circling around you (by car), but buses to the airport leave near the square for 4 MAD.

Purtroppo nella nostra camera c’era un forte odore di muffa/fognature

I loved staying in the Medina. The location on a narrow lane was so exotic. Once inside, the road had a lovely tile courtyard. The room was simple but it was clean, and you could enjoy a rooftop courtyard. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
