Riad Chameleon

We had a wonderful stay at the riad. What we appreciated most was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Mourad, Soufian, and Mehdi were always so forthcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind, which made a big difference to our experience. We also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The assortment of pancakes, omelette and orange marmelade was something we looked forward to every day. The rooms was great, spacious and clean with a cosy bed and wonderful.

Communication prior to arrival could have been more consistent.

Rien tout était parfait

Vous souhaitez passer un séjour de rêve à Marrakech ? Allez au riad Chameleon ! Situé dans une petite rue très discrète de la Médina et à 15 minutes à pied de la place Jemaa El Fna, vous serez reçus par une équipe incroyable ! Mourad, Soufiane et Mehdi vous accueillent comme si vous faisiez partie de la famille. Leur gentillesse et leurs conseils sont en or massif. Le riad est magnifique, décoré avec goût et d'une propreté irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Une fois franchi la porte discrète du riad vous vous retrouvez dans un havre de paix. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe qui a contribué à faire de ce séjour une parenthèse enchantée. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation ! A bientôt !

Tout a été parfait

Tout était top et dépassait les attentes. Le personnel super aimable et n’a pas hésité durant notre séjour de nous accompagner pour les bagages, les recommandations, échanges au petit dej, etc… merci spécial a Sofien pour son accueil et tous les autres qui ont été la pour réponde à toutes nos questions et demandes. Sinon, comfort chambres magnifiques, et immersion dans la culture marocaine et amazigh a travers le decor et la nourriture.

A bit far from the center’s square

Wat een pareltje in Marrakesh. Alles wat je kan bedenken is er en alles in authentieke stijl. Personeel is niet normaal. Halen je bij de poort van de stad op en brengen je daar ook weer naartoe zodat je nooit kan verdwalen of om te zorgen dat er niet iemand misbruik maakt van het feit dat je verdwaald zou zijn. Voordat je de stad in gaat krijg je uitleg en een kaart over wat er allemaal te doen is en hoe je makkelijk weer terug komt. Je waant je als koning en koningin daar.

What a gem! From the time I booked this Riad to the time we left it the team were exceptional. We celebrated a friends birthday on our 1st night I asked if it was possible to arrange a cake, it was delivered with candles singing and a lovely personalised note after our wonderful dinner. Another night we didnt feel like going out after a day at the spa and they organised a take away! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone of the team and we felt truly welcomed and looked after our entire trip. The food was also exceptional Complementary tea/coffee whenever we wanted was most welcome and appreciated. Location wise a quick 15- 20min walk to souks and main square. Less than 10min walk to Limoni Restaurant. Would love to return to this special riad again some day

Nothing everything was exceptional. If you dont like a friendly cat maybe not the place for you. But as massive animal lovers this added to our trip

Heerlijke riad om de medina te verkennen. Schone kamer en heerlijke plekjes om te relaxen. Je wordt met veel liefde ontvangen door een team van zes mensen die er alles aan doen om je verblijf comfortabel te maken. Heerlijk en overvloedig ontbijt op het dakterras, ook met glutenvrije opties als je daarnaar vraagt. De airporttransfer was goed geregeld, waarna Rachid ons opwachtte bij de poort van de medina om ons naar de riad te brengen. Je krijgt uitleg over de stad en gratis Marokkaanse thee staat altijd tot je beschikking. Het is inderdaad een klein stukje lopen naar het centrum, maar daarbij kom je juist langs prachtige authentieke plekken. Zowel de route via "La terrasse du jardin" als die via "Limoni" zijn beide de moeite waard om te verkennen (de straatjes eromheen én deze restaurants zelf ook!). Een extra dankjewel voor Soufiane en Rachid die met hun glimlach en gastvrijheid hebben gezorgd voor een super aangenaam verblijf. De volgende keer komen we hier zeker terug!

Door het zwembad kan het op de onderste kamers een beetje klam aanvoelen, maar als je iets te drogen hebt, helpen ze je met alle liefde een plekje op het wasrek te vinden in het washok.
