Western Ridge Motel

This property deserves a "0." It is not a place I would ever consider staying again! It is old, not maintained at all, and the room we were in did not have a pleasant odor (it stunk). Unfortunately, we arrive late on the Memorial Day weekend and were stuck with this place. We even avoided setting our luggage on the floor, definitely no walking on the floor in bare or stocking feet.

The mini suite was nice for couples or families or groups travelling together that desire separate and private sleeping rooms. The carpets were not clean. No cups, no ice bucket, and the toilet was not seated properly. Cleanliness rating -- fair. Place was quiet and well lighted for security at night. You get what you pay for. Place needs a thorough update and cleaning.

This motel should be in a guest house or backpacker category as it is at a poor standard and in need of TLC and is managed by the motel next to it.the add with Agoda listed it as being discounted for the night, I should have been more alert and read the reviews. The price reflected the standard, if it was classed as a backpackers or budget motel there would not be the negative reviews.also west Wendover in Nevada is only half a mile away and the casinos Sunday to Thursday would have motel rates around 45-55 US. Finally the cleanliness needs to be improved to get into the budget level from where I would rate it ant present.

I booked this room through trip advisor and was charged 52$ when I got to the hotel I was charged an additional 42$ they claimed no one had paid for the room and they had to charge so after paying almost 100$ I recieved a key and opened the door both beds are broke one has a bow in the middle and the other is lopsided. The room stinks the bathroom walls are falling apart and there was a turd in the toilet. I cant wait to wake up anf get out of here I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I have 4 kids with me and im just waiting for a cockroach to fall from the ceiling while I lay in bed or a crack head to walk thru the door that doesnt lock properly eew I'd u can help it pass this place up and pay a few bucks more for somewhere else u won't regret it

I am totally shocked that this place is still in business. Our family was attempting to drive all night long, and just had to stop and sleep for a few hours. We chose this hotel, as it was 2:00 AM and we just wanted to sleep for a few hours. We opened the door and were hit with a pungent smell, similar to cat urine. The bathroom sink had something in it similar to snot, and the toilet handle was dangling from the toilet. The carpet in the back part of the room was wet, and similar to everyone else that sent reviews, there was dried blood and pubic hair in the bed. What a horrible place to be!!! We slept for a couple of hours and were out of there by 6AM. This is the WORST place I have ever stayed and very disappointed that they are allowed to rent rooms. Condemnable!

made reservation call 3 months later they said all reservation were canceled. they sold the Motel wanted 100.00 more a night. after finding another motel . did our stay in town for speed week. We get back and found they billed us as a no show. now we get to fight for the refund. BEWARE WHEN MAKING RESERVATION HERE

Once we got to the hotel we noticed a huge spiderweb crack in the screen that was fixed by tape, that should of been our first clue on how horrible this place was. Once we walked in it really smelt bad but that was just the front desk.But after they started talking in a differnt language in front of us which made my wife and i uncomfortable we got our cards keys and walked to our room. Once we opend up the door both beds were not made and their was trash all over the ground so we just closed the door and walked back to the front desk and asked for another room which they gave us. So we walked over to the new door with our card key and the room didnt even have a card key, so we had to walk back to the front desk and get the key instead of the card key. after we got the key we walked back inside and noticed the about 13 inch CRT tv and how small the bed was and how everything smelt, and by this time it was two and we just wanted to go to bed, so i went to the restroom to clean up and thats when i noticed that the tiles were falling off the walls and the bath tub was covered in dust and I was about to walk back and tell them when i saw them near my room and i called them in and i showed him and he said they were renovating so i asked for a refund and luckily we did get one but it was still the worst Hotel Experience i have evr had, we check in at the quality in for twenty bucks more and it was well worth it. IF you HATE someone, recommend this place to them.

My family and I booked this hotel for our halfway point during a drive from Colorado to California. Driving up, the outside didn't look too bad... but as I began to get a closer look was when things got iffy. One of the large windows in the office had a huge crack in it that was fixed with some scotch tape. There was a large overflowing roll-off dumpster sitting right by the staircase in the parking lot. Walking into our room, I was hit with an overwhelming smell of urine (like a kitty litter box). My husband and I were ready to go to bed, so we pulled back the comforter and found dry blood stains along with hair and dirt on the comforter and blanket. We decided to just try to deal with it since it was only for one night but then we discovered a spider in our bed as well as makeup and who knows what else on the pillows. It was at this point that we decided that we'd had enough, so we went down to the office, returned the room keys, and asked for a refund since we had only been there about 45 minutes. We were told that the person running the front desk at the time could not give a refund but the manager would be in the next afternoon and would call us to discuss the situation. When asked what time the manager was going to be in, the front desk clerk said that he would be in at 12 pm.130 pm came and went without a word from the hotel manager so we decided to call him instead. He said that he couldn't give us a refund because we had been there for "three hours" and had taken the blankets off the bed and put a piece of trash in the trash can so the room needed to be paid for. He told us that we shouldn't expect so much from a supposed 1-star hotel even though it is advertised as 2 stars. I think the least you could expect from a 1 star hotel, or any hotel for that matter, is clean bedding! This hotel was absolutely by far one of the most disgusting rooms I have ever seen in my life. Save yourself the trouble and spend the extra few dollars to stay in one of the casinos or major hotel chains!

Refused to refund our money! We checked in and found the bedding to be stained and had hairs in the bed. We checked about 1 1/2 hours after we checked in and they refused to refund our card. We have been fighting through our bank for over a month now to get our money back and the owner keeps lying to our bank. Fortunately he changes his story enough that the bank believes us and not him. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Worst possible experience one can have at a motel. We checked in and the office window is broken and was put together with tape. The bedding had dried blood and cat hair on it. The place is a total dump. We did not even stay the night just left and tried to get a refund but was told we couldn't get a refund because no manger was on duty and that a maager would not be on duty until noon the next day. Just horrible I highly reccomend the rainbow hotel/casino down the road
