"An absolutely amazing weekend away."

An absolute gem. So peaceful, relaxing and private. Facilities are great. Tents spacious and extremely comfortable. Woke up to zebra outside and birds chirping. Owner and his dogs were super friendly. Visiting the miniature horses on the farm was a treat. Not far from Muningi gorge which has fantastic hiking trails and spectacular scenery. So close to Joburg yet you feel like you're miles away from it all. Would definately go back.

Only 1 thing to mention. It was great having the plunge pool on our deck, lovely after hiking to sit in it and relax but at night when sitting round your fire I prefer the sounds of the wild and the quiet. The pool was noisy and cant be turned off as it's a donkey fire warming it up so if water not kept flowing, it will damage the pipes etc. Fine in summer as you wont need to heat it.

My second visit to Beka Idube. And I'm loving the experience. I can say Beka Idube is my choice for a weekend away. Comfortable driving distance from Johannesburg. The tents give you the best of both worlds - luxury and nature. Clean, well maintained. Everything your may need is provided. Every tent has a small heated pool. The tents are well positioned so you have your privacy. The owners are very friendly and treat the guests like family. Highly recommended.
