Sahara Nomad Camp

Great camping experience. Ahmed was an excellent host.

Very nice desert experience. If you really want to stay in desert this is the place. Not a "fake desert". Staff very friendly. Especially Ahmed. Genuine helpfully guys and a true host. We felt safe and very conformable. Both with the stay and ambience. STUNNING location.

Food could have been slightly plentifully and warmer. But this should not hamper your real experience what you get in this camp.

To see/experience the desert and our perfect and enthousiastic host Mohammed. the highlight of our stay in Marocco.

We reached the camp with camels which it was an amazing experience. The camp is great, staff members were friendly and welcoming. We had an excellent dinner, listened to music and chat with locals and other tourists. We tour around the desert with Ahmed and his 4x4 car and we also had a ride with quad bike for extra fair money. Me and my partner were happy and we are looking forward to go back to Merzouga one day.

Ahmed and co were brilliant. We were more interested the camel and desert experience. The tents were comfortable.

Outside toilets were a bit lacking. Breakfast was buffet type. Most people were in groups so food disappeared for those of that woke up earlier.

The camp was clean and next to the dunes and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ahmed is social guide , he organized and drove us in a 4x4 tour around the desert and through the dunes and he took us to nomads family and explained about their lives which was wonderful and gave us delighted stay .

Everything was perfect.

To get there without an own 4x4 you can go there with a Camel or an jeep. The communication to plan the Ride was very good! We decided to take the camel ride, wich was a great experience, although the quads disturbed the expected silence of the desert. It was nice to look at the stars.

We had a good time in merzouga, but you shouldn't expect to much from this Camp. - If you're looking for a place to enjoy the silence of the desert, you're at the wrong place. There is glaring light everywhere, powered by a noisy generator. - catastrophic bathrooms (picture) - the only bad food we had in marocco No offence against the staff, we got the feeling that they tryed their best and were very kind!

Ahmed was an excellent guide and very helpful with everything. A day trip around Sahara will stay in our memories forever! Thanks Ahmed keep up the good work!!!

Everything was excellent.

From the beginning Ahmed was very communicative with us, regarding the transport to the camp, the dinner and solving all our doubts. The meeting point was in a hotel with a pool that we can use before starting the ride to the camp, which was the paradise with +40º We took the camels (25€) to go to the desert and the 4x4 to come back (+15€) which I recommend as you have both experiences. The night in the desert was amazing, the staff is super welcoming and cares about you having a good time. The dinner and the breakfast were delicious and plentiful. We had fun listening and dancing with local music with drums. On the way back we also visited a nomad camp in the sahara. Thanks for making this experience so beautiful <3
