Villas Ganjor

I had a great stay at Villas Ganjor. The family that owns and runs these 3 Villas is so friendly, always available for advice or simply a nice conversation. The bedroom has a big double bed, a nice little balcony, is air conditioned and also has a very powerful fan to circulate the air. The bathroom and terrace are downstairs. Every morning I would order my breakfast and within a few minutes it was freshly made and brought to my terrace by the daughter. If one dish is not enough you can order a second for a very small fee. The Villas are located pretty centrally on the small island, so it is only a short walk to any side of the island. I personally enjoyed the north side beaches the most. Quiet and nice soft sand. My 3 nights here were very relaxing and I can highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Gili Meno!

Please be aware there is currently no fresh water in the pipes on the entire island (same for Gili T), so it is a saltwater shower. My tip is to by bottled water and do a final fresh water rinse after the saltwater shower.

Traditional style home, lovely and clean, friendly hosts, wonderful breakfast with coffee and pancakes 🥞 would definitely stay again!

The room is quite spacious and you have lots of space for yourself with the patio downstairs and the balcony upstairs. The garden gives it a relaxing feel. They let me check in early which I really appreciated.

At first it looks great but then you realize everything is quite old and run down. Nothing works as it's supposed to. The sink fills up because it doesn't flush well, the window doesn't close properly, the hot water in the shower (which is salty as in all the budget accomodations on the Island btw) lasts for a couple of minutes only. But what disappointed me the most though is the AC. either because the window doesn't close or it needs service, the AC won't keep the room cool during the day. So don't count on resting here in the afternoon because it's too hot. I'm also surprised other reviewers said that the breakfast is good. The omelette was done with stale eggs and the pineapple juice tasted really bad (of course I cannot be sure it was it but the day after I had diarrhea). Overall it's ok value for money but I don't think this place deserves its rating.

- eau de la douche très froide et très salé (même si c’est le cas partout c’était particulièrement le cas ici) - pas d’insonorisation entre les chambres, beaucoup de bruit la nuit (coq, mosquée)

The property is pretty big and actually clean enough for us, what i missed is the bum gun in the toilet 🤪
