The room we stayed in was disappointing. The chair fabric was worn, the bathroom mirror cracked, front door glass broken and there was rust on the fridge door.

USNZHaving two beds was great. Electric blankets were a bonus. This unit was a great size with plenty of easy parking.
Self check in was easy but it meant we didn't see any staff at all, maybe that was OK and very good business sense on their part. The bathroom sink had a terrible stain on it, which wasn't nice so a little note apologizing for that would have gone a long way. The ceilings were very high, with some very high windows without curtains, so would have suited stargazers!

Shower pressure was terrible, the set up with the bathroom and toilet all in together was not ideal for 4 people. No tea towel, and coffee plunger provided but no coffee to go with it.

AUGreat view over the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks. The room had everything that we needed.
NZThe room was a very good size and positioned well for the views of Punakaiki. It's a shame there is no walkway to access the punakaiki area and facilities.
A suggestion is to have a larger fridge in the unit as we brought food for the 2 day stay as the area has little in the way of eatery and no store.
