Glamping at Hay Festival

Catered excellently for my food intolerances. Great breakfast. Lovely atmosphere and comfortable communal areas

Bright lighting around the site meant we found it hard to get over to sleep - even with the eye masks provided. And early morning light through the tent too so not the longest sleeps!

This was a great spot for walking to the Hay Festival. Very convenient and an easy walk. The site is lovely - a lot of thought has gone into what people attending a literary festival would enjoy - nice communal area with 24 hour coffee/tea, yurt was comfortable and if you timed it right, no queue for the showers or toilets. Would definitely stay again.

We glamped for the Hay book festivbal - the site was very convenient both for the festival and shopping in Hay!

Very friendly well organised site. Comfy beds. Good facilities and breakfast.

Staff were so welcoming and helpful, facilities were great also. We had a really lovely stay and can't wait to come back!

Journey to festival was little longer than expected and quickest route was all walking along a main road with no pavement which would have been good to know before, was fine for us but just aware for people with children

The communal tent with free hot drinks on offer all day, deck-chairs and blankets. The tent was very clean and the beds were comfy. The view over the fields was pretty too. The portaloos are of the flushable variety.

As the crow flies - it's just a few hundred yards to the Hay festival site - but pedestrians have to walk down a country lane and past a housing estate to get there - so that's about a 10 minutes walk. Not a problem though.
