"A great place to stay for a day/weekend and enjoy onsen experience"

9.0

+ we arrived early, and were allowed to store the luggage. + on check-in time, the receptionist who knows some English, showed us to our room and brought the luggage, and showed the location of the baths + there are 2 outdoor (male and female), 2 separated indoor baths (deep and shallow), and 4 private baths. + all bathes have toiletries (soup, shampo, conditioner, tonic lotions etc) with public baths also having cotton buds, brushes and razors + another girl came to schedule dinner and breakfast using google translate + the dinner was huge, with multiple servings and delicious, the worker did her best to explain to us what it is and how to eat it using google translate. + The breakfast was tasty however somewhat small + unless there is cloudy weather, the view from the room window and from the outdoor bath is stunning

- The ride to and from Tokyo using public transportation is long (2-4 hours and 3-4 switches depending on time) and somewhat complicated - Not very responsive on Booking.com - Not much information in English for a new onsen user, so we read and watched videos on YouTube on how to wear yukata (obviously not perfect 😂), when to take a bath (on arrival before dinner, before going to bed, and on the morning before breakfast, though we also allowed ourselves one after breakfast)
