Scamander Tourist Park

Air conditioning worked. Lounge reclined but was grubby.

Forget about ocean views. You can see the distant horizon between two trees. Park full of permanent sites, bed springs had seen better days, bed groaned every time we turned over. Doors and windows were filthy and there was a smell in the cabin.

Location to the waves. Value for money. Facilities in cabin.

Good position, clean, equipped and modern cabin. Friendly obliging staff.

Some of long term residences had quite a bit of junk visible which detracted from a picturesque and well maintained park

It’s quiet. The sheets and towels were clean and fresh

Shower head leaked constantly and wouldn’t stay up. Shower screen dirty as was top edge of shower cabinet. Extractors dirty, Toilet not properly cleaned, even though the tape across it declared otherwise. Paper holder and towel holder both broken. No fly screen in bathroom. Floor dirty. Oven and baking tray not clean. Microwave and surround/ counter dirty. Toaster not clean. Cobwebs over sliding door curtains. No fly screen on sliding door. Fly on window sill been there so long it was dusty like the sill. Fly screen on bay window large hole. Hanging rail covered in dust. Floors around fridge and bedsides especially dirty. Bedside cupboards both damaged and not cleaned. Verandah not cleaned. No pillow protectors and very old pillows. WIFI not available even though advertised.
