Emma's Riad

Riad was located close to so many things - from museums to the market, all whilst not being in the middle of the chaos. The area was super safe, and felt more local than touristy which is great. The square was 25 min away from the riad, and worth the walk, since you get to see so many stores that you’d miss if you took a taxi. Great cafes, restaurants close by. The staff at the riad were super kind, and very very accommodating. The breakfast was great, and the dinner was even better. Check in and check out went smoothly. The room looks exactly like the pictures shown here. Felt like an authentic experience. I would definitely come back and stay at Emma’s Riad if I visit Marrakech again.

The intimacy of the riad and the feeling of safety and serenity. There was a lot of space and a roof terrace. The decor was very zen with a beautiful fishpool in the communal area. The bedrooms were all very spacious, clean with authentic Moroccan touches. Fatima and Rachida were extremely kind hosts who went out their way to accommodate our needs.

If you wanted a bathtub, some were quite deep and could be hard for people with mobility issues to get in and out, so just tell the hosts if this is the case. The showers were very spacious though and fresh towels provided every day.

Séjour très agréable à Emma’s Riad ! Le petit-déjeuner, inclus dans la réservation, était délicieux et copieux. L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné dès notre arrivée. L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Marrakech. Les chambres sont confortables et disposent chacune de leur propre salle de bain, ce qui est très appréciable.

Petit problème d’eau chaude un moment mais ça été rapidement réglé

Emma's Riad is beautifully decorated, super clean and in a great location for exploring Marrakech on foot. Rashida was a wonderful host and really cares that the guests are happy. I felt safe staying there as a solo female traveller. The breakfast of crepes, fresh coffee, bread and jams was perfect.

The only thing that would have improved the stay is a nicer roof terrace and a pool for relaxing.
