It was cosy & clean, the custard creams were a very welcome treat and it was lovely to have tea making facilities within the room. The shower was powerful and I appreciated the comfort of the bed. I was also surprised by how quiet it was throughout the night, I had a decent sleep without be woken up by other customers.

The queuing with diners meant I was waiting for around 15 minutes to check-in. The curtains let a lot of light in early so I was up and out a lot earlier than expected.

Last minute booking due to not being able to stay at another booking due to it being in habitual. Manager and staff changed rooms to accommodate to what I had booked online which was cheaper. The staff were fantastic, explained everything I needed to know about the accommodation, how to order breakfast to anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable and met all requirements. The value for price was excellent including breakfast we had in the morning was fresh and delicious. Service was polite and friendly, not rushed, patient. From going to a nightmare of a situation it lead us here and I can highly recommend this as a place to stay. Petrol garage to the side at lowest point 1.27 per litre on the day and cafe open 24hrs. We travel up that end quite a few times in the year and I will definitely come back to stay. Thank you for making my stay enjoyable and a pleasure to be there.

Absolutely nothing.

Upon arrival I did think I had booked something maybe not to the normal places I would stay ! From the outside it looked a bit shabby !. To the point of almost finding somewhere else . I had paid so I ventured in still apprehensive . Smiley welcoming lady checked me in and showed me the room. What a surprise, lovely clean room with en-suite. Ventured back down for food , again amazing scampi & chips beyond expectations. Slept great on a very comfy bed. Went for the inclusive full English breakfast. Well the breakfast was 10/10 best I’ve had in a long time, inc fresh orange& toast. The waitress was so nice and friendly ( enjoy France in the tent ) To summarise this place . NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT COVER . Absolute bargain with the best breakfast included with a smoky face. Thanks
