The Restaurant was open 24 hours

Only one full sie bath towel when the booking was for 2. We asked for the second towel and they said they would drop one off to the toom . No towel materialised. At breakfast, we asked for toast but none came . Others got there's straight away but not us ! We had to ask again and ask for the codfee again. We were given granola but far too much so it was wasted. The coffee came with milk in it which is odd . There was no wholemeal or brown toast option, really unhealthy. The downstairs corridor was quite smelly . Very little ventilation. Our room was above the kitchen so we smelt bacon most of the night.

Good staff. Good food. Decent price.

A very classic British motel, a step back in time to great staff, decent food with plenty home cooked meals, rooms spotless, staff a credit to the owner

Excellent value , home cooked food, accomodation very clean and comfortable

Motel is next to a busy main road, but this is a minor issue when balanced for a good location and accessibility .

It met our needs for a one night stay

Great breakfast nice host clean hotel

Lovely place to stay, very central but nipped away on a quiet sidestreet. We stayed in the family room, which was perfect for me, my husband, and two teenagers. Very spacious room with everything you needed. Very comfortable beds, lovely continental breakfast in the room. Only one negative, but it can not be helped. We could hear the room above with the squeaky floor walking around early in the morning. Would definitely stop again.
