Passport Inn and Suites - Middletown

There didn’t seem to be breakfast available. There was a coffee maker in the room though.

The cleanliness of the room, particularly the bathroom was not overly impressive.

Definitely an older motel, but room was spacious and clean. Good place for the price, the owner was very accommodating to early check in and late check out

The room was so spacious and comfortable. The staff was also very attentive and kind. Bharat was so helpful with everything, and I enjoyed my conversations with him.

Nope. We checked in, looked around and left to go find another hotel. The smell of cleaning products was SO strong that my asthma immediately started bothering me. Listen to all of the reviewers that mention the strong smell- it's overpowering. We weren't expecting a fancy place, but it just felt unsafe. Carpets looked decades old and desperately in need of replacing/cleaning. There were cigarette burn holes on the bedspread. Upon checking in, we had to fill out a paper slip with our signature- very dated overall and as a mom and kid traveling by themselves, it didn't feel safe enough. There is an attached Indian restaurant, when we pulled in the first thing we noticed was trash piled up all over the place, along with caution tape across the front entrance of the hotel. While the front desk staff were very kind, we couldn't handle the strong smell of the room.

The room was large and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The television set was HUGE! It must have been six feet across. The room was made up each day and fresh towels put out. I liked the little balcony, and I sat out on it and watched the rain come down.

The place is old and a little run down. The entrance steps have lost part of the carpet covering. It makes you want to turn around and find another place to stay. There is no breakfast, nor is there a place to serve it if they were to try and do it. There is no business room or exercise room. This place has rooms to let, and that is all. Only once did I see someone at the desk in the "office". When we arrived at 5 or 6 pm, we had to wait several minutes for someone to check us in.

Good location, met minimum expectations.

Kinda strong fabuloso cleaner smell, my wife didn't find it clean but I didn't see any objective dirtiness.
