We absolutely LOVED staying at Ao Marama! The view, the house, the hot tub, the location were all incredible. We were met by Duan and given a tour then left to ourselves. PERFECT!

That we had to leave!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom lodge, the location is incredible. If youโ€™re looking to unplug and enjoy the nature, this is a wonderful place to do so. Elizabeth and Duan are lovely and warm hosts, we appreciated their genuine attention and desire to make us feel comfortable.

We had no problem with the walk down to and back from the beach, might be a challenge for some people with mobility issues. Best chat with the owners

Excellent location, especially watching sunrise from the cottage we stayed and also from the sun deck. Host is extremely nice, show us around the property, told us which track to use to go to Wharariki Beach in order to enjoy the views better, and even gave us some freshly baked apple cake to enjoy upon arrival. Thanks so much!
