This was just a 1 night stay passing through and it was good value for money. The bed was comfy and it was clean.

The aircon was noisy and the was no windows in the room you could open. The room needs some updating and some maintenance.

It was on the main road and the value was good

I travel with a dog and there was no place to walk her. There was no breakfast so had to locate a restaurant.

Clean but the towels were grey from age. Paper thin walls, floor in bathroom felt ready to cave in and very uneven.

I had come to Cashe Creek to attend a funeral in nearby Ashcroft, where there is only one motel, used primarily for long term rentals. I chose the Sundowner because it was one of the least expensive, and I wasn’t concerned about comfort or extras. Yes there are more expensive options that offer more, but if you’re on a budget, it’s a good choice. It is a little tired and could use some upgrades, but again, it’s one of the best deals in town. There’s some kitchen facilities- fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, plates, etc. The A/C works great, and I had read reviews that said that there was no hot water, but that was not the case. I was in the end unit, and it took a minute or so to get hot, but once it did, there was plenty with decent pressure. What impressed me most was how nice the woman was at the front desk. When I called to tell them that I couldn’t arrive to check in on the first night of the three days that were booked, it was only hours before the check in time, and I fully expected to be charged for the night, but they didn’t charge me. Then, on my last day, I had broken the connector for my phone charger, and it didn’t look like I would be able to find a store to get one, so I went to the front desk and the kind lady gave me one at no charge, which really saved me. That kindness goes a long way with me, and I can overlook other shortcomings. Thank you Sundowner for your help in a difficult situation.

It could use some updating, but overall, a good choice if you’re on a budget.

Simple motel right in the middle of Cache Creek. For the 1 night we stayed in town, it was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy, property looked decently maintained, & it was a quiet Wednesday evening.

The staff was really nice and very helpful

I had no hot water! Everything was dingy and dirty and the appliances were filthy.

Checked in at 1am. Called prior to ket them know. We had no problems paid 10$ extra for the dogs.
