Waterway Inn

Location was nice. Away from congestion, but a short 5 minute drive either way to more populated areas for dining.

I liked everything

The people were so kind and helpful with local recommendations. Location was great, and though we didn’t have time, boats are available to rent right onsite to explore local islands and waterways. Will definitely do that next time!

Waterway Inn is an old school little motel right on the Intercostal waterway. The owners were very nice and helpful, the window of my room looked right out onto the waterway and I could lie in bed and watched the boats (and a couple of dolphins!) go by. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable.

The room was very small as was the bathroom. It was fine for me as a single traveler who was visiting friends, so I didn't spend much time in the room. If I was going to be there any amount of time, it might have been too confining.
