Ratu Cottage by OurStory Travels

Location is good, kinda half-way in between points of interest. Not far from good restaurants. Room was clean, AC worked just fine, wifi was average for the island and bathroom cleanliness was ok - seems to be the standard across Bali and the other islands. Hot water is a nice feature, not found in too many places. Garden looked very nice, but nothing else to say about the property.

As it's the norm everywhere around the islands, dogs barking, cats in heat and roosters all the night. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but have that in mind if you choose a location outside the urbanized areas. However, we found an excessive number of spiders in our room, some crawling on the bed. No common areas to hang out.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating. However, we paid and booked for 3 nights and only ended up staying for 1 because of location. Great if you have a scooter or ride one

Extremely remote area, the town nearby has very little/nothing. We struggled to find anywhere to eat and then could not get transport back, walk back was unsafe after dark due to long empty roads with packs of wild dogs that followed and were aggressive at points, luckily a local gave us a lift after taking pity on us

Comfy and quiet. The owner let me use his motorbike to get around the island no questions asked. Water refills provided at reception.

Wi-Fi was poor. But Wi-Fi is like that everywhere on the island.

Everything is perfect. Well located for both the east and west of the island. Comfortable and complete room. And the host provides you with everything you need, he is the best on my trip to Indonesia.

A great stay, well located and everything is perfect. The owner is a great person, excellent treatment, he provided me with everything, transport, ferry to another island when I left,... If I returned to Nusa Penida I would definitely repeat here

Everything is ok

It’s 500m off the main road and so a quiet! It’s the most peaceful night sleep I’ve had the in the last 2 months in Indonesia! Comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. The staff are so nice, happy and really helpful! They organised a scooter for me, did my laundry and were just generally helpful with advice and places to visit. Also their little pup Bodhi is a little cutie!

Great location to a side of Penida you may not usually stay at. Many restaurants somewhat close if you have a scooter. In a local neighborhood and away from the main road so it’s quieter. The guys there were so friendly and SO helpful. Helped get us a scooter for our long stay on the island and even helped us whenever we needed assistance with replacing the scooter when we had problems. Always there to help with anything you may need. We were so appreciative for their help! Wi-Fi was good enough to work. AC was strong and beds were comfy! Great little place to call home for your stay on the island. :)
