Lacking in decor. Older motel

I made a reservation through Booking.com for two adults. When I arrived at the front desk, they asked how many people were with me. I said we are 2 adults and my child, and they told me that I had to pay a different amount because it was for three people. I explained that it was a child, but I still made the payment. Later, I checked the website where I made the reservation, and it showed that children don’t incur extra charges. However, they still charged me as if we were three adults. I called by phone because no one was at the front desk and asked to speak with the supervisor. They told me it was the same person who attended to me. I explained the situation again, and she responded that there was nothing she could do and that I would have to wait a week until the manager returned. I told her I wouldn’t be available by then, and she replied that she wouldn’t be there either. When I asked for the name of the person in charge, she said she didn’t know. There was a serious lack of professionalism. I do not recommend this place. The blanket had cigarette burns, the towels were stained, and there was a strong smell of old wood and humidity.

I loved how clean the room was and how comfortable the bed was. I slept so good. The room was spotless.
