The Mel Huts

We absolutely LOVED our time at Mel Huts. The huts were lovely, clean and comfortable. Th AC was very efficient. The pool was large and clean. Breakfasts were OK. But the best aspect of our stay was the staff: helpful and kind. They helped us organize ferry from Bali and drove us around Nusa Penida. Special thanks to Kadek who was so kind to our little son, Anthony! We all miss you and wish you the best!

the owners are very nice and have a lovely dog called floofy roaming around the accommodation. the pool was nice and there are Sunbeds to relax on which are in the sun all day. the accommodation is a few mins bike ride to shops and restaurants but about a 25 min ride to the main port. this is nothing negative about the hotel but just a heads up if you book onward travel to the gili islands / Lombok with them it will be with Semeya One who do not leave from the main port that you arrive on they leave from elsewhere, however when we arrived from the main port we rented a bike from there, so when we had to leave from a different port we had to pay the man who we rented the bike off an extra 50,000 to collect the bike from the semeya one harbour. if we’d of known this we would have booked our onward travel online as it’s the same price and would have been able to leave from the main port and not had to pay the extra 50,000 (also we waited nearly 3 hours for our boat as always semeya one boats were late!)

the bathrooms could have been updated and cleaner.

It is a calming environment. Air-con, hot water provided. The owner is friendly and thoughtful. Besides, they offer tour packages which are much more wallet-friendly than the others.

The owner of the place is really friendly and willing to help you around. The hut was comfortable. Would reccommend!

Everything, nothing to complain!! Kadek is reaally nice and he goes out of his way to help you. The pool is amazing, everything was clean, beds where very comfortable. Would definetly go again!

I liked it very very very much! 10/10! friendly owner. smiling staff. it was nice to come here. cozy bungalow. very beautiful green area. large pool with good depth. purely. Breakfast included. breakfast can be selected from the options offered. we took banana pancakes - these are the best banana pancakes in my life. If we come to Nusa Penida again, we will stay at this place. thank you for your hospitality and prosperity to you.
