Johnny's Motel

The hotel room was very well outfitted: it had a microwave and a small bar fridge, so you could very easily make your own breakfast or reheat pizza, all the fixings for a comfortable stay. I should also mention that the hotel had been renovated expertly so that there were vinyl bathroom tiles and a king size bed. It really was like a suite.

We were disappointed that although it was June the swimming pool wasn’t open yet. It really isn’t high season for most of these small motels until July and August, so it’s easy to book accommodation at the last moment or even to show up and get a room. Conversely, no swimming pool because it’s too expensive to run one with a few people using it.

Daniel at the desk was very welcoming , cheery and friendly. Good sized room, comfortable bedding. Quiet.

Location by the river. Real mugs and dishes. Lots of coffee. Great staff.

It said senior rate, I did not get. It said pool was open and it wasn't and it was very hot out

No hair dryer, no wastebasket in the bathroom, terrible bedding: noisy rubber sheet and polyester unbreathable blanket, 1 cup and a tiny coffee maker, no hangers or closet, terrible bathroom sink with nowhere to put toiletries.

Very friendly, comfortable, updated rooms.

Lovely renovated 1 bedroom apartment motel room. Direct ground access to a small patio with deck chairs and a grassy treed area on the river. Walking distance to town shops and restaurants. And pet friendly. Enjoyed our stay.
