Very spacious room, walking distance to everything you want in Port McNeil, and the port is close to most points of interest up in the north. The place was clean and we had no issues.

The room was too big for the furnishing it had. If they could just invest in a dresser, that would be nice. The room just felt, well, empty. Add in a dresser and it's perfect.

I liked the fact there was a fridge and a plug in fan in the room. I also liked that there were hooks for jackets by the front door.

The weather was mostly rain. It would be nice to have a mat or even a boot tray near the front door for the guests to put thier wet/dirty shoes and boots on/in. Also i had to cancel my first night stay since I had to work late and couldn't make it up by 11. I was hoping to have a full day up there on Friday but instead I had to drive up Friday and then wait until almost 4pm before I could settle in before heading out. If there was some sort of way to leave a room key for late arriving guests like I punch code to open a mailbox with the room key in it?? The code for that box can be sent via email or text msg.
