Wonderful place to stay-owners provide fabulous customer service!

Once we stepped into our room, we could see how well the staff took care of this motel. Then, we saw how important the customers are. Bottled water in the room, more than enough towels were among the extras in my opinion. The staff was so nice, really helpful also. As we were leaving, the manager asked if we wanted some water to take with us. A first in my travels. Thank you. I'll be back.

Location and cleanliness were excellent

Beds were squeaky in Unit 5 and there was an old lingering smell of cigarette smoke...likely from years gone by

We were welcomed by the woman I assume is the manager/owner who was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean. The bed comfortable. The location close enough to walk to the main downtown area and the waterfront. This was a surprisingly great economical stay.

While the room was spotless, there was a heavy bleach/cleanser smell, and we had to kind of air out the room to lesson it. So I'd recommend they either air out the room more or use something that didn't have that strong a smell. While the location was near other motels and close to downtown, it was a little iffy. I didn't feel unsafe, but it's not the nicest area to walk around in. On the other hand, I didn't think the location of some of the "nicer" places by the waterfront was much better. It's Port Angeles itself that seems like its seen better days although we were there off-season, so it's probably fine in the summer, and it's near so many wonderful places to hike.
