Hotel Uguisu

朝食のご飯のお米が、すごく美味しかったです。

最初に通された部屋が 隣の方の話声が 聞こえて リラックス出来ないので 向かいの部屋に替えてもらいました。

The guy from the front desk at check-in was amazing. Really helpful, polite, and care to explain everything, even with a language barrier. Dinner was great and served in the room. The room itself was very spacious.

There was some miscommunication with where the breakfast was being served but quickly resolved. Facilities were outdated. The onsen didn't feel clean. There were green particles floating in the water ( I don't know if this was supposed to be). The onsen and the changing room were completely covered with plastic tarps, water leaking, and even mould. They have a very cute pet tortoise. However, poor thing is being held in a way to small tank.

The food is really fantastic, hand made by the chief. The hospitality that we received from the staff is really good, and they are willing to help us search for our friends during a heavy down pour

The road to the hotel is pretty far and could easily be missed even with the GPS.

The onsen was good, especially enjoyed the outdoor bath. The breakfasts were nice with lots of interesting things to try. The room was clean and spacious.

No coffee available at breakfast, only green tea. No hair conditioner available in the onsen. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
