The Village of Angels

Die ruhige Lage direkt am Meer und gleichzeitig etwas am Ortsrand von Candi Dasa war gut. Es waren viele sehr gute Warungs und kleine Läden in der Nähe zu finden. Warung B,tok, Padang Kecag, Oketo Café sind alle großartig.

Das ganze Hotel wirkt irgendwie muffelig und aus der Zeit gefallen. Die Textilien (Handtücher, Kissen, Decken etc.) müssten dringend mal erneuert werden. Das Frühstück ist sparsam und wirklich kein Highlight. Unser Bad war nur mit zwei Vorhängen vom Schlafbereich abgetrennt, mit Bali Belly ist das kein Vergnügen. Die Außendusche hatte den Charme eines Gefängnishofes. Im Meer kann man nur bei Ebbe schwimmen, jedenfalls habe ich mich nur bei Ebbe getraut, da sonst die Brandung sehr an die Trennwände klatscht. Die Pools wirkten nicht sehr gepflegt, wir sind nicht im Pool geschwommen. Ich habe mich hier irgendwie nicht so recht wohl gefühlt.

The layout and decorations are very beautiful. The surroundings are calm and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a pool, common areas and access to the sea. The rooms are small but clean, equipped and comfortable. The hotel can help organize transport, as regular taxi services don't really work in the area.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with a clean beach and perfect access to the ocean. The swimming pool is excellent, and the whole place feels very well maintained. A great spot for a relaxing stay.

. We were informed that food could be ordered between 12:00 and 21:00, so we placed an order at 16:00. Only then we were told that the chef starts working at 17:00 and our meal would be ready around 17:30. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the food was very average and did not meet expectations.
