The Village of Angels

Beautiful small boutique hotel in Manggis. Two nice pools and right on a sandy beach. Room was nice and good value for money.

Schöne Lage, direkt am Meer mit zwei Pools und gutem Service und Frühstück. Offenes Bad und angenehmer runder Raum mit Balkon. Sehr schöner Garten und gepflegte Anlage. Generell ist, die Anlage etwas älter, aber für Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr zu empfehlen. In der Nähe sind mehrere verschiedene Restaurants.

Der Pool war stark gechlort und baden im Meer weniger einladend.

Camera sporca.inaccettabile. Non c’erano nemmeno tende alle finestre quindi entrava il sole . Quando ho fatto presente questo alla struttura mi hanno chiesto altri soldi. Il direttore non si è fatto vivo , si negava anche a telefono. E non è un comportamento corretto

The accommodation is nicely located at the coast and well designed.

We received 2 hours before our check in a message that they had a double booking (we were already driving to the location). We booked a suite with 2 bedrooms, because we are a family of four. They put us instead in single bedroom suite. They only compensation they offered was a “free extra bed” in the single bedroom suite. And they offered free breakfast, which was already in our booking. They did not want to give any discount or willing to give us a proper upgrade (instead of this downgrade). The first alternative room they offered was dirty and the AC was not working. The second room was better. But still, it felt as a downgrade when suddenly you need to sleep with 4 in a room. The customer service was really poor and also there was only 1 person staff a the location to properly manage it (no bagage support or somebody at the parking area). Furthermore, the restaurant is really overpriced and lacks all taste. I paid 115k for a Nasi Campur which taste wise was an insult to the Balinese cuisine (I know after living 5 years in Indonesia). There are much better alternatives in the area so my advise is not go to this place, which looks nice on the pictures but is one big disappointment.

One of the few places in Bali with direct access to the ocean without plastic! And comfy swimming pool. Also very stylish deco and interior.

In this room the bed was not good; for tonight we have changed the room, a bit more expensive but good bed and full view on the ocean!

Food delivery from the staff though the web app directly to where we were on the resort. The smiley staff and the architecture and furniture and the little private beach n So much more

Our villa nr1 was not the best place for people like us who need a good night sleep. Curtains that didn't block much light, resp garden lights were on long after 22:00 night peace; lot of noise from surroundings (people, ocean waves) coz its in the middle of the area; no privacy unless the curtains are closed... So if you want peace choose the other side of resort by the pool, or the upper floors. But hay, no biggie! We are in paradise and we loved it.
