Gingerbread Cottage Yurts

The yurt was lovely set just inside the woods. With hot tub, listening to the birds, & the smell of the honeysuckle was nice while sitting in hot tub. The bed was very comfortable with all the fairy lights it made it very romantic and two lovely sofa chairs to sit and chill reading my book. Outside was table chairs a hammock and outdoor sofa. All just great. Toilets showers spotless and great rain shower.

Couple of things could do with you have to cook breakfast on the BBQ so takes bit of time. Could do with a small camping cook & frying pan to cook eggs and heat beans. Also a fly door screen to stop the bugs getting in.

It was huge! Comfortable bed so had a good sleep. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Toilet and shower room nearby and very sweet. Fairy lights from inside yurt all way down to the toilets looked great and a well lit path.

The hot tub was far far too hot. It was 45 degrees! It’s wood fired so couldn’t turn it down. Host was helpful and threw out some water and put cold in. We waited 4 hours for it to get down to 40. Lovely hot tub I think we lost a layer of skin 😂😂😂

The tent was spacious, and at another time and if I'd been travelling under different circumstances, my review might have been entirely different. The hosts were lovely and I feel bad writing this review.

I booked a 3 night stay with my 2 dogs. Unfortunately we arrived on the very hot BH Monday in May. The heat outside the yurt was torture for the dogs, and worse inside (about 40 degrees). Couldn't keep the door open for air flow because of flies and insects - there were plenty inside already. For me, the busy road just yards away was very noisy , inc cars backfiring & emergency vehicles, & my puppy managed to escape through a hole in the tent I didn't know was there (stress+++). The shared fridge didn't have sufficient space for myself & the other guests, & all the facilities were some distance from the yurt. Maybe I'm just not a glamping girl! Sadly it was a 6 hour journey to get there, 3 hours at the site including unpacking then packing up again, and 4 hours home. The shortest holiday I've ever had. Plus I had to cancel all my plans. And £330 for the privilege (ouch!)

Loved it. Great Yurt, great hosts and great location. Excellent stay.

For us given we used the bbq for cooking tea and our breakfast maybe just a little bit bigger garden table would have been a good addition. That is only a suggestion as the total stay was wonderful.

Lovely setting in woodland with excellent and very clean facilities. A very enjoyable stay

We had a lovely night in Larch yurt. A beautiful yurt with everything we needed and the location is peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. We loved the hot tub and the hammock and enjoyed a bbq during our cost stay. Nicola greeted us on arrival and is a friendly perfect host. We wull be nack

Beautifully decorated inside with lovely finishing touches. Had everything that you needed and was very comfortable. The fairy lights at night made the whole place look magical.

Beautiful and quiet location, hosts very friendly and helpful, yurt was comfortable and had everything that was needed.

Only issue was that the hot tub drained itself so we couldn't use it in the morning on the second day, however the owners were made aware and hopefully addressed the fault for the next guests.

Very tranquil and relaxing. Loved listening to the birds in the morning. Bed was very comfortable! Great location
