Vayam Boutique Resort Gili Asahan

Le Vayam est un vrai paradis perdu…Avec tout le confort et le luxe ! L’équipe, avec V, Mita et toute la team ont fait de notre séjour un moment vraiment inoubliable. Le petit déjeuner ainsi que les plats du restaurant du Vayam hotel sont délicieux. L’hôtel est proche des autres peu nombreux hôtels sur Gili Asahan, ce qui permet de changer de restaurant (même si on ne conseille pas forcément :)), faire un cours de yoga, admirer les chevaux… Bref, nous sommes partis en espérant avoir la chance de pouvoir revenir un jour!

Just one tiny little point, there was only wifi in the restaurant.

The place is expensive (includes breakfast) but non-filter coffee comes as an extra fee for breakfast (espresso, latte...) for a place that is 3x more expensive than the places in the sekotong area, they could include that. We also had to pay the parking for our motorbikes during our stay, which again, just include this in the overnight fee and don't make customers pay for that...

Great location, very peaceful, clean and comfortable

The restaurant serves pretty good food, and the staff make a real effort to keep the beach litter-free. The free boat shuttle is a plus, and water sports equipment is available free of charge.

A real disappointment. Quite surprised that there are very good comments, perhaps we were unlucky. The room wasn’t clean, and within 10 minutes, we spotted numerous cockroaches. The manager moved us to a villa but it was no better : the sheets were yellowed, and the pillows were moldy. Thankfully, we stayed only two nights. Also, the hotel’s deckchairs are old and heavily stained. To sum up, avoid this place — there are far better hotels just next door !
