Birch Patio Motel

I loved the location, very close and convenient to the beach. And the woman at the front desk, Angela I think her name was, was beyond kind and accommodating.

The bathroom had a big issue. There were little brown bugs on the bath mat and wings on floor. By the end of the night there were lots more. We had 2 in the bed with us. They had crawled onto our feet and hitched a ride. I’m pretty sure they were termites as I looked them up. Also, the mattresses were not that good.

The location is unbeatable — just a few steps from the ocean and close to plenty of other attractions. We were met with kindness and real willingness to help, which made a big difference. The value for the price is incredible — I honestly didn’t expect something this good to be possible. The rooms were very clean, with great mattresses and high-quality bed linens — something you don’t always find in hotels. Highly recommend!

TV did not seem to work, but did not matter as I was not there to watch it.
