Long Bay Motor Camp

Die Kabinen in Reihe gebaut sind direkt in Strandnähe, von der Einrichtung her ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt, Bettwäsche kann man gegen einer kleinen Gebühr mieten und beziehen, vorne vor ist immer eine kleine Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Von der Terrasse aus kann man aufs Meer gucken.

Die Gemeinschaftsduschen sind schon in die Jahre gekommen und warm duschen ist gegen Gebühr.

The host was just fabulous and very welcoming. She double booked a site and then instead of cancelling us she rung around motels to look for accommodation for two couples. After no avail she had two cabins that we could go in even though they were for big groups. She even gave us a a lovely gift for the inconvenience. Lovely place very clean and fresh rooms. Fresh amenities very clean best I have seen in all my camping years around the nation. Awesome walk to kauri tree as well. Very peaceful and the bird life amazing.

Vue imprenable au bord de l’eau. Bel espace extérieur. Petite chambre, coquette et salle de bain fonctionnelle.

Beautiful location with good facilities. Easy access to beach and walks. Very quiet. Well equipped shop on site with kayaks etc to hire.

Budget accommodation was Shepherds hut where bed only 6ft long so cramped as tall. Also lack of cooking equipment in shared kitchen. Showers required extra 1 dollar coins and not all worked properly.

One thing I would like to mention: firstly, the mattress in the smaller Shepherd is very soft. You sink in up to 20 cm. You have to like that. I got back pain and could only sleep because I put three pillows under my hips/chest. Apart from that, it is a beautiful campsite with very friendly staff and clean sanitary facilities.

No rugs for floor. Hope they put even one electric fan. They must do a limited wifi. Wifi don't work.
