Hotel-Restaurant "Veldener Traumschiff" direkt am See in 2min im Zentrum

Good location. Had a breakfast terrace next to the lake. One of the owners (the husband) was very nice with us when leaving the hotel. Not the same his wife when we arrived, or the waitress at the breakfast.

The worst hotel I have stayed ever. We stayed in room 26. We spent there only 1 night (luckily). There were no wifi (internet) in the room at all (not just slow or faltering, but the mobile couldn't even 'see' the network). No signal in TV (it was even unplugged from the socket). No airconditioning. No safe in the room. No telephone to call the reception for help (even no reception). No info book in the room (about wifi, etc.). The soap dispenser in the bathroom was felt down from the wall (they tried to glue it, but it let go), couldn't be used. There were no hood in the very small bathroom, so there was mold on the ceiling above the shower. The room was very small, we had to avoid each other when moving. Beds were very uncomfortable: there was a 50 cm high very soft mattress and overlay (one moved the other was bouncing). The room looked very-very old-fashioned: seemed to be designed in the 1980's and haven't been renovated, just refreshed, yet in the last 40 years. The ceiling was wavy because the putty came off from all the lot of repaintings. The fridge is placed on the open balcony. The parking place was just a weedy small site for max 9 cars 100 meters from the hotel.

Uns hat die direkte Lage des Hotels am See, der tolle Panoramablick vom großen Balkon direkt auf den Wörthersee und der direkte Blick auf das bunte Treiben an der Seepromenade sowie die zentrale Anbindung an das vielfältige Leben und Schlemmen sehr gefallen. Auch das Frühstück auf der Seeterasse war ein Highlight, ebenso die Restaurantkarte mit exquisitem Essen. Der Chef, Ernst, kümmert sich stets gut gelaunt und zuvorkommend um jeden seiner Gäste. Highlight beim Frühstück waren die varitionsreichen Zubereitungen von Eierspeisen.

Der Liegekomfort war in dem Doppelbett sehr unterschiedlich auf den beiden Matratzen. Von sehr hart bis hin zum Versinken auf der zweiten Matratze. Das an sich gute Frühstück könnte ein wenig mehr Abwechslung/Variation haben. Das Personal war gemischt von äußert aufmerksam und freundlich bis hin zu "buisiness as usual" . Die Ausstattung mutet etwas veraltet und auf dem Balkon mit zwei kleinen und einem sehr langen Tisch, der keine Funktion übernimmt, sondern nur Platz wegnimmt, überfrachtet an. Handtücher und Möbel könnten sicherlich etwas frischen Wind vertragen. Bademäntel sowie Wattestäbchen und Gläser für den auf dem Balkon stehenden Barschrank wären wünschenswert gewesen. Fazit: Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und es war ein schöner Urlaub!Wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Sehr netter empfang mit prosecco und dann konnten wir das zimmer auch schon etwas früher beziehen... super aussicht vom balkon auf den see und in ca 10 minuten ist man im strandbad. Das frühstück ist einfach perfekt! Preis leistung ist top und die unterkunft jedenfalls empfehlenswert!
