Clean and tidy

The room had an interconnecting door and we could hear our neighbour talking on the phone. So not very private.

Location was ok but no idea of how to get to beach or around the area, not signposted or mapped. Plumbing noise from showers in next two units was shocking, loud. I could hear the people in the next room talking and snoring. In the morning around 8, staff started up a tractor near my window that continued for half an hour. The property was advertised on booking.com. When I'd booked and paid I got a message from the hotel owners that it was a smoking and alcohol free zone and I could get a refund from booking.com if I wished. If I broke the rules I would be reported and kicked out immediately. I was travelling and it was not possible for me to do this in a hurry. I felt like I was in some kind of right wing christian establishment, at least an unfriendly intolerant threatening establishment. With the noise in the room and unsurety of how to get out for some relief, I was most unhappy. Hotel from hell. The young woman at the desk I gave the key back to was friendly.

Comfortable beds and good hot water. Air conditioner was very quiet. Older style motel but a good stopover on the way to Sydney or Brisbane.

Quiet place. They are a Christian holiday park and a non-alcoholic camp ground

I was met with 3 un-made beds at Check-inn. The room had not been cleaned after the previous customers. I checked inn after 2 o'clock. I had to wait one and a half hours at the reception because the cleaners did not respond to the lady at the reception, when she told them to clean the room. They ignored her order. She reminded them that check inn starts at 2 o'clock. It seemed like the staff did not understand that I was a paying customer. I had paid approximately 280 A$ for the room for one night. I asked for a discount. But because I had booked via Bookings. com this did not happen I was cycling Brisbane-Sydney and had cycled hard in the heat for 7 hours that day. I was chocked by these very poor morals

Very helpful and friendly service. Nice location with several beach access options nearby. A quiet holiday park.

Didn't have any extra rolls of toilet paper. The curtains above the bed are at a length that allow the street lights (and early sun) to shine down on your face.
