CheckInn Kan Resort Kanchanaburi

The picture depicted on Booking.com is exactly what I received. Nothing was exaggerated or covered. The location was good. Close to the river and many eateries. The staff was also very friendly. My family and I really enjoyed playing billiards.

The only problem was a foul/bad odor coming out of the bathrooms. Apart from that, I don't see anything else wrong.

Rooms were spacious and thats it. Other than that totally not worth it at all. Absolutely crap place

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at Checkinn Kan Resort was riddled with issues: - The room had maintenance problems – part of the floor was peeling up. Their solution: either wait an entire day for handyman to come to repair it or leave ur keys with us. Not trusting strangers with all the contents in my room. Who knows what could happen. Clearly management doesnt check rooms and just gives it out to whoever without any checks. In the end they put a tape down to keep it in place which i suppose was better than potentially tripping over loose flooring or hurting my foot by it getting accidentally cut. - No toilet paper unless you ask for it. Why is that not standard? - No utensils provided. Even basic cutlery like forks and spoons were missing. - Surprise security deposit at check-in – not disclosed during booking. - Beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. - One of the two bedrooms had no hot water at all. - They charge for everything – even plates and forks! - No microwave in the room. The only one is at reception, which means walking in the heat every time you need it. This place felt more like a budget hostel than a resort. Not recommended, especially for families. Every bloody thing is charged wouldnt surprise me if they charged u for the air u breathe as well. Receptionist also barely speaks english which makes life incredibly difficult. In the end had to end up telling her boss who translated into thai for her as i got tired of using google translate to explain every damn thing. Happiest day of my trip was when i checked out of here. Good riddance to terrible accomodation. Never coming back to this again even if its free. Good riddance

We booked a triple bedroom suite, and the room is very spacious. You can park two cars right in front of the room under the shade. There is a sitting room with two sets of sofas and a flat-screen TV. The air conditioning is cool, and the shower has strong water pressure.

- There is a very strong smell coming from the drain, which needs to be fixed urgently. - It would be better if the resort could provide hair towels. - The labels on the air conditioning remote are faded and should be replaced.

La chambre est spacieuse et au calme, avec un canapé et la chaîne YouTube est disponible en français ; 2 bouteilles d'eau chaque jour.

Avoir une bouilloire dans la pièce aurait été un plus, si on souhaite de l'eau chaude il faut aller à la réception, qui se trouve à bonne distance. Durant tout mon séjour, la fête et la musique battait son plein près du pont, de 19h30 à minuit ; cela résonnait dans la chambre.
