CheckInn Kan Resort Kanchanaburi

Location

There are no windows at all. Aircon and fridge were noisy, only 2 pillows (must pay extra for more). Room was very basic and worn.

Big, clean, modern room in a quiet area. Personal parking right outside your door for those are driving - I was surprised when I arrived because I wasn't expecting a motel.

The Wifi sucked. It was fast at 44 mbps up / 27 mbps down. But kept dropping out every 30 seconds. I ended up hotspotting from my phone. No windows.

Comfortable and cheap, no pool or restaurant, but I knew that and I didn’t require that service

Room C5 The room is very spacious with a decent bathroom. Water was delivered to our room everyday. It was 10 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants. About 15 mins to the river Kwai bridge and museum.

A bit unusual in design and we hadn’t realised on booking the room had no windows so a little dark.

Everything was really good, it is quite a rare find. The best part was that they let us shower after day trip (our booking was already over). Perfect

A good place to just sleep and shower for cheap. There’s no window in the room. No shower gel or shampoo but they have available at the reception to buy. I don’t smoke and was placed in a smoking room with ash trays in it and the sheet had a burn hole. I traveled via bus 11 hours overnight from chiang mai to Kanchanaburi so I slept the entire day and just left out walking to get a bite to eat. There are many restaurants, pubs, and massage parlors all close by walking up the street. There’s a few dogs in the street but they didn’t bother me.

The bed was hard and there is not a window. Also no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. But I guess that keeps the cost down. And for sleeping the darkness was good for sleeping during the day.
