the pool was nice, but the area was nasty, dirty.

For one the pictures online were not updated by no means. The hotel itself was very nasty. The Elevator didn't even have inspection information on the wall to know all the info; it barely worked my handicap mother almost got hung up in the door and could have truly hurt herself. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom, from the walls to the floor. Room was not clean. I had to go purchase Lysol and spray everything down. Cockroaches were climbing the walls and tables. I asked for towels that I never received. No one ever came to empty trash or clean room. The fridge didn't work. The air I had set on 40 degrees but never went under mid 80s the whole stay. The TV barely work, it cut on but when it was on for over 5 minutes the screen would go black, but the sound was still going. The bathroom tiles were broken. The floor outside the bathroom was caving in. Honestly, they truly need the Health Dept. to go shut them down. When we were packing up to leave, I seen a housekeeper "cleaning" a room and he was using a white towel, they probably wash and give to guests to use, to mop the floor. I was very disappointed to see that they weren't even using cleaner to clean the rooms. The first night before 9pm I tried to call and get my money back so that I could get a clean and safe room for my family, but I was told they couldn't refund me quickly. I tried everything but my resources wouldn't allow me to leave the motel no matter what I tried. I stayed up to 3am doing everything I possibly could have to get out of there and it was just not successful due to multiple factors. There were so many families with their children in the same situation that I was in. Very sad there are people that think all of this is acceptable and they are still in business.

Location is great.

Room was very dated and in desperate need of upgrade and repair. Furniture in the room had clearly been broken and badly repaired. Kitchen exists, but no cooking supplies were provided, no pots or pans, dishes or utensils.

The pool was nice. Housekeeping was fantastic, super sweet people. Front desk worker, really nice guy.

Bathroom floor was messed up, cockroaches on the first two nights were terrible.

For someone not staying on the beach this is a perfect location it's a short walk to the beach which is great. The pool is also a decent size it's only 3 to 5 ft but it was for the most part clean other than sand which is a given.

Our room the air conditioning was blowing cold however it was like having a desk fan on one so when we questioned about possibly getting another room we were told no it was just because of the heat which was not the case because other rooms on our level head condensation on the Windows where their room was so cold and we did not have any relief. Finally one of the maintenance men gave us two box fans which helped but obviously there was no relief inside the room between the humidity and the heat. After our first night there we started seeing roaches in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Now I stayed at this hotel last year around the same time and we had no issue so I don't know if the owner has changed or management has changed or just the staff in general but it was not a pleasant experience this time at all.

Location was good. It’s located as stated 3 blocks away from the beach. This place is a little run down and the stairs have a strong urine smell. The beds were good and so was the size of the room. Staff was friendly. Place may need modernization but overall it ok if you are in a pinch.
