Le Motu

The location is very quiet and far from facilities apart from the beach. We like the quietness but needed a motorcycle to get around. If you want to be in the thick of things this place is not for you.

The villa was spacious and quite nice but needed maintenance. Water flew out of the taps at all angles. It all felt just a little neglected. It would have been good to have things like spare toilet paper and plastic bags for toilet tissue. We were only there for 3 nights and did not want to have to shop for all of these things.

size of the lodges are good, indoor space, outdoor space both more than enough. Fans indoor and outdoor are comfy. We had some issues with A/C in both the lodges we rented. the local supervisor Boy, was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to help us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. the location is easily accessible (no steep roads) and away from everything, you will need some sort of vehicle (motor, scooter, car) to get around. but it is very quiet. wifi has great speed. on-site rent of scooters, for competive price per day

the pictures show the beach and pools, but the beach is a few 100m away, and the pools are part of lodges/villas that are also for rent. so if they're rented, not sure if you can continue to use them. we were lucky so we enjoyed the pool. cleanliness of the pool could be better, as well as the villa's. Boy and his wife are doing a great job, but it's a big terrain and keeping that up-to-par, is hard work. AC didn't work so well, TV in one of the lodges didn't work, some of the lights didn't work. we didn't mind the TV or lights, as we didn't spend much time in the lodges.

Loved it here! Absolutely calm and beautful. Nice beach, cool beach bar nearby, I would say it was heaven on earth! Boy was really helpful and so kind. I liked my bungalow, everything was comfortable and clean. I recommend this location to everyone!

The location was perfect for us—peaceful, calm, and away from tourist crowds, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. Not much was happening nearby, which suited our need for rest and quiet perfectly. The nearby beach and the availability of kayaks were fantastic additions; we used them on five out of the seven mornings of our stay. The bungalow itself was spacious, well-equipped with all the essentials, and very clean. The internet connection was on point, there were no big issues with remote working, which is quite important for me. The bed was large and very comfortable—sleep quality was excellent. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the two ceiling fans, including one on the balcony, were a great touch, especially for enjoying late evenings outside.

The only minor concern was some visible mold in the bathroom near the stone area. It wasn’t a significant issue—just a suggestion to consider for future improvement. Overall, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. It would also be great to include a bit more glassware in the kitchen—for example, larger mugs for beer and bigger glasses. It wouldn’t be a significant expense, but it would certainly add to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay. A few more clothes hangers would work great too—doubling the current amount would be ideal and make organizing personal items much easier. Also, if you're not a fan of dogs, be aware that one or two of the local ones roam around the bungalow area and can be a bit intrusive at times. For us, it wasn’t an issue—they were very friendly and quite cute—but it’s something to keep in mind depending on personal preferences.

Renting this stylish home just steps away from a private beach was an absolute dream. The breathtaking sunsets created the perfect backdrop for unforgettable evenings. This place is ideal for a peaceful retreat and complete rejuvenation. I can’t wait to come back and experience its magic again!

I absolutely loved the peaceful surroundings. The villa is amazing. Spacious and modern with everything you need for a comfortable and luxury stay.

It was really hard to find as I rode my scooter and the Google maps description took me to two different locations first. There is no sign outside to say what the property is called. I found it eventually but after riding around for an hour. Also the villa smelt a bit damp upon arrival. Maybe it had been shut up too long. It didn’t take long to air out and it wasn’t a problem.

The pool shown on the photos belongs exclusively to private bungalows and is not available for use. Admittedly, the wording on booking.com does not mention use of a pool. But the photos are prominently featuring it, raising a wrong expectation. Swimming from the nearby beach is somewhat limited by the tides and stones. Very limited shopping and no ATM within walking distance.
