Wild Rose Country Inn

Obviously an older building, but updated room interior - looks a lot better from the inside than from the outside. Friendly people, very clean room.

The room was fresh and clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Had a great nights stay.

The parking lot was not well maintained and had a very thick ice buildup. Took a nasty fall going to truck.

I like the location. Very kind and helpful reception. When I checked out I forgot to make the receptionist refunding my $100 for damages. I left the property and after one minute I got a phone call from the reception lady, whose name is Bella. She told me that I forgot to come to the reception for the money refund. I got back in a minute, refunded the money, thanked Bella and left. It was very kind of the receptionist Bella because she was caring about me. I was a returning guest. Used their services several times and every time was very good for the price I paid.

No toilet bowl brush. When I was checking out I reported it to Bella, the receptionist and she said I should have reported right away the previous day and she would have gotten it for me. I understand that was a small thing and next time I will improve my communication with them and everything will be all right.

We stayed in a queen smoking room. Enjoyed the fact you can smoke. Surprised their was a stove and utensils. Small but good enough for a night. Wouldn't recommend a long stay.

No heat only space heater to heat the room, Which was fine but surprising. Also bathroom we got 1 Towel, My husband and I had to share in the morning when we realized.

Very icy parking lot. Restaurant not open. No coffee.
