Mecca Motel

It was in the perfect location. Close to the downtown area but without the noise. The chairs outside our room were used multiple times. Great view of the mountains.

The size was perfect. Microwave and refrigerator also provided.

Very clean, beds were comfortable.

No coffee pot in room.

Check in was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Facility was quiet; this motel does not allow children, pets or guests. Location was good for access to Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. Highway was nearby for access to other parts of the area. Refrigerator/freezer & microwave worked well. One big plus -- the bathroom had a window over the tub that had been tiled over, so the window sill made a good place for toiletries. Also, the bathroom had an old-fashioned medicine chest for other toiletries which was a good thing because there wasn't much counter space. Ice machine was a "coin" operated dispenser outside the office, but they provided tokens at check in. Hotel is just a few blocks from the entrance to the Garden of the Gods.

AC was noisy, but seemed to be a common problem at hotels we stayed at.

The Location is unbeatable! We visited the zoo, Cog railway and Garden of the gods they were all less than 15 minutes away! The price was way cheaper than any other place and it felt super safe! It’s a simple room nothing fancy but It was perfect for us to just sleep in and relax in between activities. I would definitely recommend and will be staying here again!
