Cheap, and out of the touristic places. Silent time from 9 was nice as well.

Only 3 pans, and no oven dish. Pillows on the bed were too soft and it was not really clean. Dust in the room and black mold on the shower curtain.

Great communication with the host, clean place, nice kitchen, well-organized common spaces, fantastic!

Horrible bed sheets with flowers, even my grandmother wouldn't have bought those

Everything was very good about the house and room. Even though it was shared apartment, other guests were so silent and no disturbance from them. Kitchen had all the facilities. Bathroom was clean.

Location is bit far frm city center. Stil there are direct bus infront of the apartment. Just 15 min distance

I recently stayed at Hilla Room in the heart of Rovaniemi and had a fantastic experience. The accommodation was impeccably clean, and the host's warm and friendly welcome added a personal touch to my stay. The convenient location in the center, along with close parking, made exploring the city a breeze. I highly recommend Hilla Room for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Rovaniemi.

The Room was Fantastic. All you need literally outside the door from Convenience stores to lovely forest walks. The city centre was a short bus route away. You had the option of 2 buses that take you to the city and the bus stop is literally outside the door. You have everything you need and the other people in the flat were very lovely.

I was a little hesitant at first but overall, I am delighted I took this room. The host was great, everything was superb and I don't think I could have found anything better for the price. The location was outstanding and if you like to take walks, the city centre is literally just over a half an hour's walk. If you want a simple room with everything you need this is a gem.

+clean (room in a clean) apartment in a quiet area; especially in winter, you’ll have a distinct feeling of “village” +the apartment has 2 baths (one of them with shower) and a big kitchen +supermarket and pharmacy (the latter closed on weekends) in the vicinity +there is a bus station in close vicinity, and the roads are being cleaned even in winter (not “to the tarmac”, but usable for car and pedestrian traffic) +despite being outside the city (and, depending on the road you take to get there, in an area mixt with houses), you feel safe even at night and in winter, as there is street lightning and the boulevards are very wide

-This is actually a room in a 3 room apartment. I cannot complain, since I was the only “customer”, so I had the apartment for myself, but I have this feeling that in a “busy day”, this would have meant I paid more for a AirBnb.com and less for a Booking.com, if you get my point. -The room had the thinnest double bed I have ever slept in, fit for two romantically involved partners, but too small for two “anything else” who want to sleep in a double bed -Is located, actually, in a sort of next-village-turned-suburb of Rovaniemi. As stated, it is good if you have a car/are ready to pay for transportation (I’ve seen taxis, but I did not see buses, despite having a station right across the street), but if you are fond of walking, especially in winter, you are going to *feel* those 2.8 km to the train station or the 3 kilometers to the center, even more when going back to the room, as it is an uphill road. -if you think, like me, that staying on the outskirts of the city will allow you a better view of the aurora, think again; there is enough street lightning to have a detrimental effect on that, and the best view of the aurora is actually on/around the lake, 3 km downhill from the apartment

Very nice appartement, well heated even with -25 outside, bed was comfortable. Location is a bit out of the city center but there are busses running every 30 mintues in front to the city center. Pub and market just outside the appartment. Would definitely recommend.

Buses stop at 22:30, so if you want to stay out late you'll have to get a taxi for the return. Also, couldn't find a way to lock my room from the outside, but since I was alone in the apartment that wasn't a problem.
