ESThe bed was really comfortable and the location really good! The stafd is nice & helpful.
It was not clean, the towels looked too old to use, you can hear all the people from the other rooms as it is not closed 100% so you have to talk quiet to no disturb them. Also, when it rains the apartments gets completely wet. A disaster for that. It does not deserve the 8,1 that has the property.
NL11/10 for Kaya! Came back 3 times and Walid - the owner of the place - was always super involved in my stay, offered me a lot of help and tips and introduced me to the people staying in Kaya and his friends. Kaya is in the middle of upgrading so every time something else is being renewed, like accessories in the rooms or the whole kitchen. It's a guesthouse (not a hotel), so don't expect that. You will get good help from receptionist Trisna who makes your bed up on a daily basis. Thankyou for the best feeling I had in Bali in a period of 4 months.
GBLovely clean room with very helpful staff. The shared kitchen area was very nice with everything you need to have coffees or dinner at the hotel. The pool was very clean and nice to relax in after a long day out. Location was really good too, not too far from the touristy places so it was nice and quiet and was very close to the supermarket.
It was quite difficult to find on maps, the grab driver actually took us to a different address until we pin pointed it on the map. Also the hotel transfer company had to meet us outside of the nearby Italian place as he also couldn’t find our address. The air con didn’t really work so it can get quite hot in there.
AUThis time I stayed in the deluxe double room, to have more space. The room has enough space, the water in the shower has enough pressure and is consistent. There's aircon in the bedroom upstairs and a ceiling fan in the living room, that can become quite warm during the day, but I did not really mind. I like the location, that can be very strategic and also quiet at night and the staff, very helpful with everything, from daily cleaning to helping with scooter rental and transportation They are really the added value of this property. Love the 3 pools also!
If the neighbors talk or watch TV or go to the toilet/shower (and the other way around) it's sounds like they are being in your room. Not too soundproof. I've been told the room was renovated but honestly it doesn't looks like it. The sofa was dirty, with stains. Maybe the cover can be washed after each stay. After all, I prefer the single room.

SENLESPleasent stay. This place is minimalistic with local Balinese touch. Their staff was really friendly and helpful. You can rent bikes right at the hotel which is very convenient. Also the location is great - 5 minutes away from the beaches by bike. Definitely coming back to Kaya Uluwatu again.
Nothing to say, all was good.
