Location

Parking is sometimes issue no allocation for parking so sometimes down street which isn’t a issue What was poor was No spoons , no toilet roll, pillows smelt on bed No saucepans cleaned frying pans burnt with food still on had to buy own , items wedged in sockets! no instructions regarding WiFi , bins , local amenities etc, property has been well used as is not described as advertised, was asked not to give positive feedback back as part refund was offered But felt truth was better

The looking of the property is good and it is within proximity of the town centre.

The heating wasn’t working and the hot water wasn’t running, until the night before we checked out of the property. To make it worse, the host kept spinning lies that the booking was cancelled, yet she gave us the pin to check into the property the night before. Booking.com insisted the booking was live. There was no single word of apology from the host about the hot water not running. We couldn’t have a shower until the next evening. She gave an unsatisfactory and untrue narratives to avoid getting someone to repair or switch on the boiler. The host focus was just on getting paid for our stay, nothing was mentioned about the remedy, and how to rectify the issue on time.

Television didn’t work. Curb-webs all over. Toilet seat needs to be properly wash

Nice to see oat milk breakfast sachet and also have easy lights for nighttime. Neat and tidy and a quiet area when we stayed during the week.

Missed a chopping board and sieve while cooking and there is an issue with the neighbours and Buller hse bin collection Also could do with some patching and snagging in terms of decoration.

The location was great for us (we were visiting York). There were lots of amenities in close proximity and comms were good before we arrived (how to access the key/ wifi).

The pictures advertised did not represent our experience of the property. The property was very tired and run down and in desperate need of some DIY: - one of the bedroom windows was broken and did not shut properly - we couldn’t get the TV to work, - the kitchen window had a broken handle - the living room blind was broken - there was no kitchen bin; nor instructions where to take rubbish - there were only 3 dining chairs (the pictures showed 4 chairs) - the bed mattresses were a bit uncomfortable and my children said they could feel lots of springs - the property had flaky paintwork and scuff marks in nearly all rooms However the most important piece of feedback we can offer is the smell of the property. It smelt dirty and in one bedroom there was a strong smell of old cat urine (despite no cats being inside the property). It could be a real gem of a property but it stood out as tired and in need of renovation and cleaning.

The location was brilliant, it was lovely, clean and comfortable!

The only downside was the smell of drainage in the bathroom, but I would still stay here again!
