Pitlochry Dundarach Hotel

Breakfast ok. Location excellent.

Really nice little castle hotel, interesting rooms and lots of cool details to explore in the castle. We slept in the other building, rooms were nice and big and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too. Good location for a walk to the town center.

Big room and great views

We were in a modern annexe, very tired, old fashioned facilities. Disappointed we weren't in main building, which had lots of character.Did not realise we had to pay more to stay in main building. Considering they were quiet, being offered an upgrade would have gone a long way to a better feel good factor.Dinner menu, mediocre. They had no draft beer. Too many staff at breakfast hovering, as soon as finished plate was whipped away. Staff seemed unsure of themselves.Fire doors were all wedged open in the annexe, felt vulnerable.

good breakfast with plenty of choice and well presented. we had a superior double room and it was large, comfortable and the en-suite was big, well equipped and clean.

Nothing of note

Friendly family run hotel. Helpful owners. Great location for the Etape Caledonia.
