We arrived in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, and were instantly enamored with the town and the home. The first night we went to Winston's pub and the bartender Ian was amazing and so delightful to talk with. We explored the town a bit looking for dinner, but as we arrived a bit later and stayed longer at the pub, then we expected, we discovered that restaurants close around 9 pm during the weekdays. We were lucky to find The White Lady, and they were truly accommodating and had a great selection of spirits (the beer was amazing). When we returned back to the home, we were so happy with how LARGE the home was, we had 5 adults in our group and NEVER felt like we didn't have our own space. The garden was amazing, and we even had a fox show up in our backyard. He/She was quite tame and very friendly. The whole experience with the home being central to what we were doing in Scotland as well as being an incredible home base to have made our experience extremely pleasurable and relaxing!!

I think some travelers may take note of the wear and tear of the living room rug. It's a bit worn, but still lovely.
