Bunaken Cha Cha Nature Resort

From the moment we arrived we felt very much at home and relaxed. Reiko, Agnes and the staff is incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. Everything that needed planning or booking were taken care of by Agnes, which included amazing dive tours, dolphin tour, massage and scooter rental :) We stayed 10 days in the ocean Villa, which is very spacious, clean and has an amazing view of the private beach and ocean. The Private terrasse is also amazing, and a lot of time was spend there relaxing and reading. Right in front of the private beach is an amazing coral reef for snorkling as well as diving. Snorkling there I saw spottet stingrays, sea turtles, pufferfish among the abundance of other tropical reef fish. Amazing place! Be sure to book the dolphin tour, on our tour we were lucky to find a dolphin pod of around a hundred dolphins playing, jumping and swimming next to the boat. Amazing 😍 Lastly, the food is incredibly tasty and diverse thanks to Agnes cooking skills. Great homemade bread for breakfast, and Japanese, Italien, French and local inspired dishes for lunch and dinner. All meals are enjoyed together with Reiko, Agnes and the other guests in a communal style setting. Always very cosy . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it! We were very sad to leave.

A beautiful, quiet, smaller property with really helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Nice food,beautiful views from the room, which was spacious and clean. We wanted to get away from the intensity of our city lives and enjoy snorkeling, swimming, reading and relaxing. Cha Cha was perfect for this.

We had no complaints. If you are looking for a high end resort with all the glitz, bells and whistles, this is not the place for you. But that’s why we liked it so much!!

the owners are just lovely people. it’s the human connection you make here that makes our stay so special. if you’re looking to disconnect and gaze upon starry skies with amazing stories from the owners, this is the place to be.

the electrical power is not the most stable but you’d expect that on an island. the team however are very responsive to make sure our stay was as comfortable as can be.

The location is magnificent and the staff is wonderful. The foods was also excellent. Diving and snorkeling were great.
